Open Oost: Kijkje in de keuken

Our doors are always wide open to those with a curious heart, but on the first weekend of October, we’re going all out! On October 5 & 6 we join the Open Oost Art Route, and invite you to get a true behind the scenes experience, or what we call in Dutch “een kijkje in de keuken” (a peek into our kitchen). And yes, we mean that quite literally!

Last week, we put out an open call, and after an overwhelming response, we handpicked three amazing artists who are up for the challenge of turning our kitchen into a work of art, each artist bringing their own unique flavor to the project. On Friday, Kristel Steenbergen will kick things off. Saturday, Don Slizerone will work his magic on the cabinets, followed by Shorty Tattoos, who will take over on Sunday.

While the artists paint, you can enjoy a glass of Cava, let your kids dive into our graffiti workshop, explore the creative studio where we cook up all our fresh ideas and check out our merch, from tees to calendars. So grab your friends and bring the family, or come solo and meet some fellow art lovers. See you soon!
