We’re excited to announce a special event during the last week of our current exhibition, 1×1: A fusion of talent, at the art’otel gallery in Amsterdam on January 10th!
At ASA, we organize several exhibitions each year at the art’otel gallery. With every exhibition, we ensure that there’s more than just art on the walls: we also host two workshops to engage and inspire visitors. To kick off this year, we’re doing something a little different. Instead of a workshop, we’re hosting a unique screening night featuring With One Eye Open, a series of short films by filmmaker Jonathan Pieterse.
The four short films were originally commissioned for the With One Eye Open exhibition, curated by Jasper van Es, and offer rare and unique insights into the world of graffiti photography. This screening is your chance to explore graffiti culture from a new angle, celebrating the stories and artistry behind the lens.
What to Expect: The evening, hosted by the engaging Robin Vermeulen, begins with a warm welcome and a complimentary drink before we start the screening of four short films by Jonathan Pieterse. After the films, enjoy a Q&A session with the filmmaker, followed by smooth, steezy beats from DJ Macksta C!
