Starting on the 20th of January, we are pleased to present a new exhibition at the art’otel Gallery Amsterdam. ‘Urban Wildlife’ brings together a group of artists working in different mediums to explore the visual connection between animals and urban city life. Often unexpected and at times surrealistic, each artist has their own style and approach to this theme. Urban Wildlife will be on display at the art’otel for the next three months.
Nina Valkhoff, Vegan Flava (SE), Tyler (IN), Joost VijfB, Marcus Wedman, Autre Fille, ETRS (DNS-Crew), Sjem Bakkus, IVES.one & Beazarility, Tuco (FR), Moniek Bijl (Studio Flamingo), Nicky Nahafahik, Flowerbikeman, Mr.X, Studio Yasja & Roedelwerk are all renowned for their use of animals as subjects in their creations. Each artist brings their unique perspective and artistic approach to the concept, promising an exhibition that is not only visually stimulating but also invites personal interpretation.
We are proud to present this broadly oriented yet accessible collection to shine a colorful light on the darkest months of the year, in the heart of Amsterdam’s urban center. The gallery is located across Amsterdam’s Central Station and is open daily from 11 AM to 11 PM.
With every exhibition we curate at the art’otel Amsterdam, we organize an exclusive workshop. Kick off the year in style on Thursday, January 25th during the Canvas ‘n Cocktails Workshop. Take a nostalgic journey to your childhood and let your creativity soar in this animated workshop led by IVES.one. €27,41 including cocktails and fun.
